Well, perhaps I am exaggerating just a bit.
But if you’d like to know why I call myself ‘jimsmuse’, what my favorite word is, or how I find contributors for My Cool Job then please be sure to read all about it here: Interview: My Cool Job.
I am certainly not in the same stratospheric “Internet Celebrity” league as the Numa Numa Guy, Randy Constan aka Peter Pan, or Seth Godin — but I think the ball must be rolling now that I’ve been interviewed for Sky Fishing by My Cool Job contributor and commenter Prairieflounder (you can see his MCJ entry here).
PF has also recently become the Pied Piper of Steampunk live action roleplay (and general exploding mayhem) by founding the Steampunk Action Shooting Society. Please be sure to address me at the Victorian Era Monster Shoot as Dr. Mabel Prescott: and do be polite, as it is entirely possible I may have hidden a derringer under my petticoats.
Brava!
What is your least favorite word?
nutsack
Oh, I think I know why! 😉
Yep, you guessed it Khyri! The skate punks who invaded my blog ruined a perfectly good word for me!
P.S.
For those of you who are curious about Khyri’s comment, see this post:

(Anyone who really wants to know where the “skater haters” forum is located can email me and I’ll give you the URL — I just didn’t want to leave the links up on this blog and invite more abuse!)
I wanted to thank you for coming to my blog. I really like it when people take time to comment too. Hits don’t mean much to me other than to make me ask, why no comments? To be honest, my blog is only under a month old and when I set it up, I didn’t know what that thing was for or what it did or meant!! The reason I started the blog was so I could communicate with other people. I love the back and forth dialog and the different opinions of all of us on ordinary living. Finally, people seem to be making comments on mine. I always wonder how they found me. So, thank you for taking the time.
I liked your interview. I LOVE your favorite “curse word.” I like that word too. You don’t know if it’s a good thing, or a bad thing to be called. If someone called me that I’d say “thank you, thank you very much.” I’d like to see the reaction.

@Joy
One of my favorite things about wordpress is stumbling on someone else’s blog by tag surfing or seeing an interesting comment they made and taking the time to check out their site — and making a new buddy!
I’ve had a lot of fun doing that, and I’m glad you found my blog! Thanks for coming by!
Oh and LOL at the “thank you very much” comment. I would love to see the reaction, too!
Steampunk? I play an occasional campaign using the Iron Kingdom Campaign Setting. Privateer Press. Does that count?
ha!
