Tomorrow we’ll be returning to the world of work and putting another link on the Cool Job list, but before we get to that, it’s movie time again!
Now that it has made its “official theatrical debut” on Tony’s Blog, it’s time for me to share my latest movie with you. For those of you not in the know, “Flat Tony” has been e-mailing himself to his many online friends in widely scattered places around the globe in attempt to broaden his horizons. Do check out Tony’s blog for more of his adventures around the world!
Here is what happened when “Flat Tony” came to visit me in Washington, New Jersey.
i’m certain that you know panny in real life. and that you live in a lovely split-level with a paneled ‘rec-room’. beyond that, i’m at a loss.
jimsmuse sez: Yes, I do know pannonica in real life, and I actually live in a refigerator box — the good news is I just found a discarded washing machine box to make an addition. I’ll be panelling that and putting in the bar, the foosball table and the picture of dogs playing poker next week. Come on over for a drink!
only if you have a velvet elvis painting. then you can count me in.
and you better not let panny know that you admitted to knowing her IRL. she likes to keep up her mystery woman appearance.
ps. go check her page, she put up a ’scrawl wall’.
jimsmuse sez: The “Velvis” goes without saying. Ask me about my trip to Graceland sometime…
That was HILARIOUS!!!!
Except now you have “Freebird” in my head and I hate you, lol.
jimsmuse sez: A very wise person once taught me the secret of how to get rid of an “earworm”, and I’m going to share it with you now. You must compose yourself in a quiet place, then sing whatever song is stuck in your head OUT LOUD in the manner of Bob Dylan. I don’t know why this works, but that trick has delivered me from a wide range of earworms from the Beatles’ “Twist and Shout” to Katy Perry’s “I Kissed A Girl And I Liked It. Good luck!
Great video! You done Tony proud.
Is this a Bloated Hawaii Tour “Velvis” or a Young Viva Las Vegas “Velvis”?
Am I a SLOB? I wasn’t even trying!
Thanks for nominating me too! It looks like stiff competition, but I’ll do my best!
jimsmuse sez: Glad to nominate you, but you must suck up to dishy to actually get into the SLOB “club”. I’m glad you enjoyed Tony’s visit — I can’t wait to see what happens when you two pal around in Japan!
um…i’m having techinical difficulties loading the movie..but did i see the STIRLING diner? the one across from primavera?!?! i GO there.
jimsmuse sez: I grew up just a few miles away and have been going there since I was 10 and it was called the Valley Diner. LMAO I thought you lived down the shore, though — why go slumming it in Stirling if you live by the beach?
dude…i got married right down the road! incidentally, husban-dito and i grew up in the area. we ended up down here by some strange cosmic destiny.
wanna play i-sketch tonight? i’m trying to wrangle panny into it.
jimsmuse sez: Well it seems like it’s old home week on MCJ. As far as i-sketch goes, I’m a virgin in that area but I’m always up for a new adventure!
panny’s mouse is busted down and i was having a mini-blog crisis so we’re not playing tonight.
i think my blog disaster is okay now. i hope. i tried to post something with a password and it didn’t work…and my biz was ALL OVER my blog. hopefully the blogreaders didn’t pick it up or else there will be a scandal in the morning. hahahaha
Carrie, your movies are THE BEST. I will have to check out Flat Tony’s blog. I think he posts over @ Panny’s place too.
PS: Curly, I am not sure if you knew this, but I am pretty sure Panny & The Muse are housemates. Correct me if I am wrong. But it’s either that or split personality disorder. Which might be neat too.
OMG. they are?!?! like on bosom buddies????? and laverne and shirley????
why am i always the last to know? and i’m sure panny will kill you for spilling this bit of 4-1-1.
do you think they figured out that i’m really mira sorvino?
jimsuse sez: You wish! (And I do too, of course, because it would be cool to hang out with Mira Sorvino!)
COME PLAY I-SKETCH TONIGHT!
visit my blog for the gory details. it’s not as bad as panny says. i promise.
WELL curl. Here’s the scoop. I am still not 100% as to Carrie & Panny. I know FOR CERTAIN that they often comment from the same IP address. But i do not know for certain anything else. My four hypotheses:
1) Carrie and Panny are housemates.
2) Carrie & Panny are housemates – but MORE THAN housemates.
3) Carrie & Panny are BFFs (which we already knew) and simply hang out and blog together at Carrie’s / or Panny’s house. This seems to be the oddest possibility to me. I simply cannot imagine going over to my BFFs house and instead of eating cookies and hanging out, we get on our individual computers to talk to each other and our online friends. But STILL A POSSIBILITY.
4) Carrie & Panny ARE THE SAME PERSON.
DOodododooDOOooDODOODoODOODOodododooo!
jimsmuse sez:
a) you two have way too much free time;
b) I actually have 27 OTHER personalities, but panny and I are the only ones who have clever, interesting blogs; and
c) DOodododooDOOooDODOODoODOODOodododooo!
Wow, #3 seems the most likely to me! I hang out with my BFFs often while we sit around on our laptops, talking to each other and online friends.
Here’sthe proof! (Sad, isn’t it…)
Hey, that’s my house! And I swear that I have never sat in the same room with Khyri and another friend, while we all surfed away on our laptops … honest! …. Well, at least not for very long. *blushes and runs away*
