i love the library...my dad used to take us a few nights a week. my childhood library is really big, with a special room for children that is as big as my local beach library.

the library makes me feel warm and fuzzy--the quiet room, the study carrels, the old-fashioned card catalog...i'm getting misty over here.

i used to love using the microfilm--zipping back through the years and checking out what was going on 20 or even 50 years ago.

i volunteer at my local library these days and love it. thanks for the interesting perspective on life 'in the stacks.'

oh, yes, and thanks for reminding me the dvd i rented last week is overdue!
